Our ultra-fast Daily: Three takes on new products. Yesterday’s top ten launches. That’s it.

New from Facebook 💼
Facebook's strategy is clear: own every aspect of your life. Last week the social network launched a Craigslist competitor and a new standalone Events app, while Zuckerberg gave us a preview of your future life in VR (watch this demo from Oculus Connect).

Now Facebook wants to own your work life with the release of Workplace, the long awaited “Slack competitor”. None of this would have been possible if Justin Timberlake hadn't suggested dropping the The. 😎

Salesforce buying Twitter? 🤔
Rumors are swirling about Twitter's future as its said to be preparing for a sale. It's reported that Disney and Google are no longer in the running, which leaves Salesforce a potential (unexpected) acquirer.

Meanwhile, an open-source Twitter alternative is making a headlines. Mastodon will feel familiar to fellow Tweetdeck fans. Reserve your first name handle just in case this takes off. 😉
Google's new phone will make you switch to Android 😮
Yesterday, Google announced a suite of new products to compete with Amazon, Oculus, Apple, and even our wifi-loving friends at eero. To recap, here’s what Google announced:

📱Google Pixel: iPhone competitor with 3mm headphone jack technology
🙇Daydream View: A virtual reality headset made out of fabric (clever)
🌐Google WiFi: A new kind of WiFi system (because wifi > everything)
🏠Google Home: A competitor to Alexa (P.S. soon you'll be able to talk to Product Hunt via Google Home) 😺

Now all you need to know is the best 150 Google Now commands to make all that new hardware extra intelligent.
Twitter bots! (RIP, Microsoft’s Tay) 🐥🤖
Remember Tay, Microsoft’s Twitter bot that went cray? It was fun while it lasted, but there are some very practical, non-offensive Twitter Bots today:

🏕 OOOTwitter sends an out-of-office reply to your @mentions
⚡️PowerPack is an entire auto-reply toolkit you can personalize
🤔 #AskJelly is all you need to tweet to get your questions answered
🤖 Botmoji from Emojipedia will help you become an emoji master
🌟 Unfavinator deletes all (or some) of your twitter likes (a recent trend)

Browsers with super powers! ⚡️
We have a special relationship with our web browser. Some of us are faithful to one and can't even think of living without it, while others experiment with multiple browsers for different use cases.

Chrome may be the most popular bae, but there are plenty of complimentary options and solid alternatives:

• Helium is a floating browser window for your Mac
• Blisk is a Chromium-based browser designed for web developers
• Tor Browser lets you browse the internet anonymously
• Aloha is a private mobile browser with free unlimited VPN
• Vivaldi is a new browser from the original co-founder of Opera

Check out the full collection of Rad Browsers on Product Hunt and browse through these 7 Google Chrome Alternatives.
Meerkat just launched a new app 🏠🎉
The team behind Meerkat is unveiling a new app today: Houseparty. Fun fact: the app’s been available for 6 months in the App Store, published under a fake pseudonym. 🙊

Like its predecessor, the app is all about livestreaming but this time with a close group of friends. If (group) FaceTime was built on top of a social network, it would be Houseparty. 🏠🎉
