Typing an accented letter on Windows means remembering an Alt code — Alt+0233 for é — or digging through Character Map. Accent Letters is a free Windows app from the Microsoft Store. 682 accented letters, A to Z, each with its Alt code, keyboard shortcut and HTML entity. Click a letter to copy it. Search by the letter itself, by its Unicode name, by language, or in plain words: "two dots", "squiggle", "hat". Works offline. No account, no ads, no tracking.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 This is the Windows app. On Windows, typing é means either remembering Alt+0233 or opening Character Map and hunting. Neither is something you should have to do to write a colleague's name correctly. Accent Letters puts all 682 accented letters in one window, grouped A to Z, each showing the Alt code, the keyboard shortcut and the HTML entity. Click one and it is on your clipboard. It is free on the Microsoft Store, works offline, has no account and makes no network request at all — every letter is bundled into the app. The same 682 letters are also on Mac, Chrome, WordPress, Figma and Wix. I will be launching each of those here separately. What would you want it inside next?
