I'm thrilled to finally share AI Document Translator for Slack with the Product Hunt community. To be honest, I built this because I was tired of Google Translate ruining my document layouts. Most standard tools like Google Translate or ChatGPT only give you plain text back, which isn't helpful when you're dealing with a beautifully designed presentation, a complex contract, or a technical manual. You end up spending more time fixing the fonts and tables than actually reading the translation.
My goal was to create an alternative that handles the translation and the formatting at the same time. Whether it's a marketing brochure or a legal doc, the service keeps the original structure perfect. We built this not just as an online service, but also as a Slack integration because that's where teamwork actually happens.
Unlike standard tools that translate sentence by sentence often leading to awkward phrasing, so we use LLMs to process files in large context chunks.
