Building a complete AI Governance Tolkit for the EU AI Act — looking for insights from founders & consultants

Over the past two years I’ve been developing a modular AI Governance Toolkit designed to help teams, consultants and enterprises operationalise the EU AI Act.

Along the way, I’ve noticed a few patterns:

• most organisations underestimate the documentation workload

• governance responsibilities often fall on teams that never handled governance before

• evidence layers and version control are major pain points

• sector‑specific requirements (finance, healthcare, HR tech, mobility) complicate implementation

• consultants struggle to standardise deliverables across clients

• enterprises need a structure that scales across departments

The toolkit includes governance frameworks, templates, CSV specifications, evidence layers, sector overlays and onboarding flows — but I’m especially interested in how others are approaching the practical side of compliance.
