One backend, its own database per project, built in the EU
by•
Built by a freelance developer tired of rebuilding the same backend for every EU client. A dedicated database per project, auth, storage, realtime, and AI wired directly into your data, hosted only in Europe, exportable any time, no lock-in.

Hey PH 👋
I'm Daylami, a developer based in France. For years I shipped client projects on Supabase and Firebase. The clients where it kept getting complicated were the regulated ones: health, HR, finance, public sector. Their legal teams wanted a straight answer on where the data lives and who can be compelled to hand it over. An EU region on a US-owned platform doesn't change that answer.
Aurabase gives each project its own database, plus authentication, file storage, realtime, serverless functions, and AI wired directly into your own data from day one, not something on a roadmap for later. Everything is hosted only in Europe, exportable with a standard pg_dump any time, free tier included.
We're a small team, in open beta, and we only publish a claim once it's actually true in the product. No invented numbers, no case studies we don't have yet.
Two questions for you all:
A couple of EU-native backends are starting to show up now instead of zero. What would actually make you pick one over the US incumbents, or over each other?
And what backend problems have you personally hit that I haven't covered above: surprise bills, vendor lock-in, a specific compliance requirement, something else entirely?
