Bento - A modular productivity dashboard you can make your own.

by
Bento is an open-source, local-first productivity dashboard you can make your own. Arrange draggable cards for tasks, notes, calendar, weather, Pomodoro and time tracking in one clean workspace. No accounts, no cloud lock-in, no telemetry. Everything lives in your browser, with import/export built in.

Hi Product Hunt, I’m Peter. Bento started because of a pretty small but annoying problem. I had to be in the office for 6 hours a day, and I never had a reliable way to know when I could leave. Alarms would bother the whole office, reminders were easy to miss, and none of the tools I tried really worked the way I wanted. So I built a simple time tracker for myself. Then the usual thing happened: I kept adding “just one more thing.” First a few useful extras, then more cards, more customization, and eventually it turned into Bento. Bento is a modular, local-first productivity dashboard where you build your own workspace with draggable cards like time tracking, tasks, notes, calendar, Pomodoro, weather, and embeds. No accounts, no telemetry, no cloud lock-in. Everything stays in your browser, and you can import/export your setup anytime. It’s open source and made to feel like a workspace you actually own. Would love to hear what you think, especially what card I should build next.
