Cal Vs Calendly

is there any reason to prefer one over the other? Have you used both or either?

My needs are simple. I want to be able to add two accounts and let someone put a meeting on my calendar from a link. I think both cover the use case -- which should I use?

Since no one mentioned it: Vanilla Google Calendar has appointment booking built in now as well.

@sentry_co I came to say the exact same thing. This is pretty basic functionality at this point and I would be surprised if all the big mail programs don't offer it.

Going against the grain here but I'm a huge fan of @SavvyCal and was a paying customer for a while. I made the switch to @Cal.com when they supported Web3/Blockchain interactions and I really like that it's open-source, free, and has a ton of integrations.

I think it really depends what you're going for, my favorite feature of SavvyCal was the calendar overlay, I could sync all my calendars and visually see my slots. This also let the person booking overlay their calendar to see which slot would be best for them.

I haven't used it in a while but would love to hear @derrickreimer's thoughts on this discussion and what SavvyCal has been up to.

Thanks for the tips! I’ve been using Calendly for years, but now that I can set up multiple events in Cal, I think I’ve got to give it a shot.
