Labscout.io aims to connect early stage startups based on cutting-edge university science with investors in VC and industry. Customer discovery has shown that there is a substantial funding challenge for university professors and post-docs who aim to commercialize IP that originated from their own research--despite these startups usually being more successful than peers.
