I love reading books, and I come across a lot of books I want to read. But sometimes life gets in the way and I loose momentum reading, and even forget what I was currently reading. This Chrome Extension address that by showing what I'm currently reading, and a selection of what's on the want-to-read-list every time I open a new browser window. Built on top of the Literal API. The extension is free, doesn't collect data or requires any credentials - just enter your Literal username. Literal (https://literal.club/) is similar to Goodreads but without the 20-year-old-web-design-vibe, and free. Built over the weekend, but quite polished with slick dark/light mode support, subtle and smooth animations, privacy first with no data shared and no credentials required.
