I’m Leo, solo indie maker of Dog Names World 🐶

Like many pet owners, I’ve struggled to find the perfect name — something that’s not too common, fits the dog’s vibe, and maybe even has a nice meaning behind it.

Dog Names World is my attempt to make that process easier and more delightful. It’s a lightweight, fast, and category-structured name explorer — you can browse by gender, style, or meaning (like cute, badass, spiritual, etc). It’s just getting started, but I have a lot more planned.

Not seeing my 'Cookie' in the poodle list gave me anxiety for a second 😹
I think a 'search' feature would be great addition: "I'm thinking of naming my dog X, but is it popular already? is it appropriate for my breed?"
