Draxlr Embedded Analytics - Self-serve analytics in your SaaS, with row-level security
by•
Embed a complete analytics workspace inside your SaaS. Your customers explore data with AI, a visual query builder or raw SQL, and create their own dashboards inside embed. Row-level security keeps each customer to their own rows.

Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Vivek, founder of Draxlr. Today we're launching the next step in our embedded analytics. You can now embed the complete Draxlr workspace inside your SaaS, not just individual dashboards.
Embedded dashboards work well until customers start asking questions they weren't built for. One wants to know which accounts went quiet last month, another wants to compare this quarter to the last. Every small request turns into a ticket and a one-off report.
Now customers can answer these questions themselves, and row-level security makes sure they only ever see their own data. They explore data with AI, the visual query builder or raw SQL, save their queries and build their own dashboards inside your app.
It's live today, and you can try it free for 7 days at https://www.draxlr.com/
What would you want your customers to be able to do inside the embed? Would love to hear from you 🙏
that row-level security is pretty rad. i've messed up permissions before, so avoiding a data leak is a big win for my paranoia. might have to dig in when i have some downtime, but leaving that tab open just in case i flake on trying it out.
@therayess Same here. Permissions are the one thing I don’t trust myself with late at night, so we made sure Draxlr only ever sees what the database role is allowed to see, and row level security is enforced on every request. For extra peace of mind you can connect with a read-only role too. Hope the tab survives until your downtime, and happy to help if you get stuck.
Thank you for support!
The visual query builder Look cool and something intuitive. Not sure its for me due to my no tracking philosophy but definitely piqued my interest enough to bookmark it for later. Best of luck
@codeandsea Thank you, Brent! Let me know when you are ready to try it, I will provide an extended trial.
Letting each customer build their own dashboards inside your app, kept to their own rows, is a nice approach. Back at Meetup Call I had to ask the dev team to stop building reports so they could ship other things. I bet the developers are the ones who'd thank you most.
@simon_moxon That’s the exact pattern we kept running into. Reporting requests never really stop, and each one pulls a developer off the roadmap.
With embedding, the dev work is a one-time setup, and after that customers build what they need on their own data. It also comes with AI, so they can describe what they want without knowing SQL or schema.
Thank you for support!
Hi everyone! I’m Ameena, one of the makers behind Draxlr.
Customer-facing analytics shouldn’t mean endless custom reports for your team. That’s the problem we set out to solve. Would love to hear your thoughts and feedback!
That visual query builder looks kinda fun, honestly. my data wrangling skills are rusty, so having a tool that helps me not break things is tempting. might convince myself to give it a shot when i'm ready to risk the chaos.
@arsene_huot Thanks, please give it a try. You can learn more about Query builder here: https://www.draxlr.com/features/query-builder/
Thank you for your support!
i can see the AI data exploration being handy for someone like me who has a habit of going down rabbit holes. might help streamline my chaos in a good way, though i might just get lost in it for hours instead.
@kunalukey Ha, that’s a fair risk. The AI chat in Draxlr is good for quick questions, and if you already spend your time in Claude or Cursor, our MCP server lets you dig through your data from there. The good part is you can save what you find to a query or dashboard instead of starting from scratch next time.
Letting customers explore their own data could save SaaS teams so many back-and-forth requests.
Been following Draxlr since the admin panel days. Nice to see it grow into this! One thing I'd worry about as a small team: if every customer can build their own dashboards, one heavy query could slow down my main database. Can the embed point at a read replica, or limit how much a customer can run?
That would make me a lot more comfortable switching it on.
And Congrats again @vivekinkoop !
