DUCK YOU started as a dumb challenge: how quickly could I build a playable multiplayer browser game with AI? The first version was live in less than an hour. Two players, a duck, a hunter, some grass, and a shotgun. It worked—and it was way too much fun to stop there. So we kept going. A few days later it had Ranked matchmaking, Glicko-2 ratings, mobile play, leaderboards, achievements, chat, live spectating, persistent stats, an earned Feather economy, cosmetics, and a frankly unreasonable amount of infrastructure for a game about shooting your friend while they hide in grass. My favorite part is that the systems got serious, but the game didn't. It's free, runs in the browser, and I'd love to hear what you think. — Kyler, Your Mom's Favorite Game Studio
