A fresh look at EpicTopia: speak your mind, see your story
Hey Product Hunt 👋
If you first discovered EpicTopia here, you may remember our focus on planning goals and tracking progress. We wanted to share where the product is today.
EpicTopia is an AI journal built around a simple idea: Dump your mind. Meet yourself.
Start with whatever is on your mind. Say it out loud or write it down, and EpicTopia helps turn those scattered thoughts into a clear journal entry.
Imagine getting home with a conversation still on your mind, an idea you don’t want to lose, and a feeling you can’t quite name. You can start there, in your own words, without figuring out how to organize it first.
That entry becomes part of a bigger picture:
Capture the moment. Turn what you say or write into an organized entry you can revisit.
Connect the story. Related entries come together in Epics, so you can follow how different parts of your life unfold.
Notice patterns over time. The Self brings together reflections on your moods, energy, and recurring experiences.
If you’d like to try it, start with one thought from today: https://www.epictopia.com/
We’d love to learn from your experience: If you’ve stopped using a journaling app before, what made you stop?

I’ve stopped using journal apps because they started feeling like another task to do. It's better then writing feels simple and natural.
I like the idea of entries connecting into bigger stories. A single journal entry is easy to forget, but seeing how things unfold over weeks makes it worth coming back to.....
I stop using journal apps when they start feeling like homework. Just talking and dumping thoughts is so much easier.
I often forget to keep journaling after a few days. Does EpicTopia help you stay on track without sending too many reminders?
Your approach of turning scattered thoughts into something structured sounds promising. What happens if I just ramble for five minutes about random stuff?
How does it decide what counts as an Epic? For example if I talk about work stress one day and family stuff the next would those ever connect or stay separate?
Does it work well if English is not your first language? My thoughts often come out in a mix and most transcription tools struggle with that?
