EyesOff uses your webcam to detect when someone unauthorised is looking at your screen — and alerts you in real time. No cloud, no data leaves your machine, everything runs 100% on-device. Most privacy tools protect against remote threats. Nobody's protecting against the person sitting two seats away at a coworking space, coffee shop, or open-plan office. Screen privacy filters are static and clunky. EyesOff is invisible until it needs to act. 30 seconds to set up. Works on Mac and Windows.

I built EyesOff after I kept catching people glancing at my screens whenever I work in public, I installed a privacy screen first but realised it's useless when someone is directly behind you. When people are directly over your shoulder a privacy screen is useless. EyesOff utilises a locally running neural network to actively alert you to threats of shoulder surfing, keeping all your data local, no cloud. I'd love to hear your feedback and any features you think the app needs!
