How Fundlify started!
In March 2017, I launched a crowdfunding campaign for a stylish leather backpack, driven by two goals: cover production costs and build a thriving brand that could grow beyond a single product.
But when the campaign failed, reality hit hard. Even if it had succeeded, what next? One production run—then what? How do you sustain and scale beyond that initial push?
That question changed everything.
Crowdfunding is powerful, but it’s flawed. A single misstep can drain finances, strain relationships, and leave entrepreneurs with nothing to build on. Why take that risk when there’s a smarter way?
