Ciao, I'm Marcello Silva and I just started this avventure.
Hi Product Hunt,
I’m the creator of GeCoM. As a long-time collector, I simply got tired of clunky databases and interfaces that look like Excel spreadsheets from the 90s. I wanted something more visual and physical to manage my vinyls and CDs.
The idea behind GeCoM is simple: no fluff, just music. The app lets you map your actual room and shelves so you know exactly where a specific record is tucked away without having to pull everything out. I also added a swap section because I believe duplicates should be exchanged between enthusiasts, not sold for profit.
The main features are the Discogs sync, physical shelf mapping, a jukebox-style coverflow to browse your art, and the barter section.
You can try it out right away using the guest access without signing up—I’ve pre-loaded some demo data. Let me know what you think, or if you have any suggestions, I’m looking for feedback.
Any of you dealing with massive collections?
