Share your product here to get support, feedback, users (w/c 30 September)

Hi Makers! Let's make this as collaborative as possible. First, start by helping out another maker -- check out their launch, give a review or share a comment on their post. Once you've helped out someone else, share your product link here. BE SPECIFIC about who your target audience is and how we can help. This thread is for you if you are: (1) launching soon or recently launched (2) looking for beta users (3) asking for feedback on a landing page Happy making 🄳

Hi everyone, We are planning on launching luxury nanotech glasses on crowdfunding that can protect the users and also help to heal eye problems as well as giving the users a boost of energy. The site is up already. https://www.ezekiel-ion.com However, when we contacted non-technical folks, e.g. a writer, they are having a hard time understanding what the glasses can do for them or which part does what. They said the site is "too technical". I would really appreciate anyone to give me some feedback and comments to help improve user experience. Of course, your feedback on the product itself is appreciated. :) Thank you in advance.

@jack_huang2 Hey Jack, I agree that this messaging is too technical, and overwhelming. I spent 20 years as a copywriter at ad agencies, and my suggestion is to cut 75% of the copy—keep it clear, crisp, concise, and compelling (the 4 ā€œC’s). You’re solving a HUGE problem here as screen-time has become an enormous issue on our eye health. You’ve got all the messaging there, just trim away all of the unnecessary copy. Think of what Michelangelo said when asked how he sculpted David: ā€œI just removed the marble that didn’t need to be there.ā€ I’d simply have a single headline on the homepage: ā€œProtect your eyes.ā€ Then craft the product story from there, and hide the technical stuff deeper in the site—customers that are interested in that level of detail will find it. Hope that helps! JC

@jack_huang2 Hey Jack, that’s pretty remarkable, so I wouldn’t hold back on the main headline of the page. Perhaps: ā€œA revolutionary way to look at eyewear.ā€ Besides the subtle play on words, it’s a big statement, and—more importantly—one you can clearly back up. And then list out in short and simple bullets points the incredible benefits you just shared. Then dive deeper into each benefit, perhaps using light-boxes or even links to new pages. But I’d suggest keeping the homepage clean and simple, with a few bold statements (that nobody else make). When you truly have a unique selling proposition, don’t hide it behind jargon. Hope that helps! JC

@jack_cooper Thank you, Jack. we will create it as a landing page first and try it out., maybe like an A/B test. We really hope this product will help many with their vision and more. Thank you.

Hi! I made this social template mockup tool, I just think about this when I was doing a presentation of social media management for a client and thought about how to "speeding up" the work or fill the mockups template more "easy and fast" idk, and just wanted to share it to the world. Here's the link https://freemocks.com/ please let me know any feedback, I would appreciate it a lot. Thanks in advance!

@lulum I like the idea for getting a quick look and how things might turn out in various social channels. My feedback is that it's not quite identical to the real thing and there is no post copy. What does your client want to see mocked up? Just the image or the post copy as well? I'm working on something similar myself which is focused on the various ad unit sizes across platforms. Still working out the kinks prior to an alpha test, but it's getting there.

Hi all! ResumeHub (https://www.resumehub.org) is a platform that showcases the profile (resume, github and portfolio) of past, current and incoming interns at top companies. With more and more students dipping their toes in the workforce from an early age, the process of landing an internship has become increasingly cutthroat. By giving the opportunity to view winning resumes* that made it past initial screenings, we’re hoping that this will help potential candidates refine their resume and build a winning one as well. We’re currently starting off with the SWE field since it’s one of the hottest fields at the moment and we’re hoping to expand as we progress. To improve our website, we’d like to invite you to fill out this feedback form -> https://forms.gle/YATDdfxA5BF8eGsF9 Hope this platform helps the community and if there's any issue, please feel free to msg me ā˜ŗļø PH link: https://www.producthunt.com/post...

Hi everyone, Me and my friend are working on SaaStraQ for last couple of months. SaaStraQ is a one-stop platform offering trials of multiple products in OneClick. Yes! this is a marketplace, where we are working for the sides i.e. for our SaaS partners and users. Through this comment, I am inviting all the saas product owners who need highly targeted users to try their products. I guess you got the idea now. This platform is simply built for product trials, so users don't have to Google for alternates, visit multiple different sites, filling number of forms. So visit https://www.saastraq.com, sign up for free, complete your business profile and start adding your products for trial. Simple, isn't it? See you soon!

Hi Makers! Kola here. So glad to be a part of such a buzzing community of makers and doers. Hats off to @abadesi for the opportunity. I'm currently working on Skouter (https://www.producthunt.com/upco...) and would really appreciate feedback around the following points. 1. Is the value prop clear from get-go 2. Do you have the problem Skouter intends to solve? 3. How big of a problem is it to you? (frequency, recency, severity) Of course, free form feedback is also welcome.

Hi everyone, we have launched a campaign but we're still searching for feedback from our first users. Honestly, we've been developing a hardware solution for meeting room management for more than 4 years. But while gathering feedback, many customers said that they would appreciate a solution for their tablets. That's why we've decided to try out a software-only solution. We would really appreciate your take on our solution and onboarding. Here's the PH url: https://www.producthunt.com/post... And the landing page url: https://getjoan.com/joan-on-tabl...
