Do you think it's pronounced "GIF or "JIF"?

Back in the DOS days, my company Genus Microprogramming sold the GIF Toolkit and we pronounced it "JIF" given the inventor of the format pronounced it that way. Besides, Alex Trebek says so, and that's that. https://www.theatlantic.com/tech...

Just two choices isn't enough... I actually prefer the non-controversial Swedish Chef pronunciation, "Yif". My grandfather came from Sweden, and old school muppets are awesome... current ad campaigns notwithstanding.

It's Jif.... the creator of the file type said so. I don't know why there's even a debate.
