Hi Makers! This thread is dedicated to you if you are:
(1) launching soon or recently launched
(2) looking for beta users
(3) asking for feedback on a landing page
First, start by helping out another maker. You can check out their launch, give their product a review or share a comment on their launch post.
Once you've helped someone else out, share your product link here and BE SPECIFIC about who your target audience is and how we can help. 😊

Hi all,
I’m launching my first ever startup CatchFire on PH tomorrow.
CatchFire is a service that validates ideas, identifies a niche or market through custom market research. About 42% of startups fail because there’s no market need for their ideas, services or products. CatchFire prepares market research based on your idea, data or specific requirements. Early stage startup, scaleup or enterprise - we successfully work with companies of different sizes.
Why market research is so important for a startup, scaleup or enterprise?
- Without proper marketing research, it’s hard to base and justify how your product would be successful in the market
- Unless a proper analysis of the market competition is done, the company cannot size the market opportunity and the potential growth in the market
- Startups can’t afford costly corporate-level market research. But, luckily there are several options that can work on a budget for startups - like CatchFire.
Check it out: https://www.catch-fire.co/
I will be happy to hear your thoughts and feedback. Thanks in advance 😊
Hi peeps! First post on product hunt so I hope I’m not getting this wrong.
This is pretty early stage so mostly looking for feedback — good and bad.
The concept is pretty simple:
- We allow you to rent a gaming console (Playstation 4) for the weekend. If you don’t have a TV, will provide you with one as well.
- We take care of the whole logistic of delivering, installing it and picking it up so you can truly enjoy yourself.
The vision would be to allow anyone to rent any kind of tech product as a trial with the option to buy.
I’ve been doing that at a small scale with some of my friends here in Montreal (precovid) and they liked it.
You can find a full description of the project on www.rentmyplay.com.
Eager to read what you guys think!

@adnane_chaabi Cool idea just find it to expensive to pay 50 bucks to play for 2 days, have you thought about a subscription plan? The user would receive the console once a month for 6 months, you could charge something around 30-40 bucks, it'd would be better for you to manage your inventory.

@tidderjail Thanks for the feedback. I do agree that longer term rental would be better for cashflow and logistic wise. I've started this solely for the weekend as a way to satisfy a punctual crave while preventing addictive behaviour. The long term vision would definitely include that. As as MVP, is there is any tech product that you would rather rent than buy?

Hi! Thank you for the opportunity!
1 week ago we launched HowBusy: https://how-busy.com/
HowBusy is 2-people contribution to the fight with COVID-19 pandemic. We hope that our web app will help people to practice social distance at the most crowded places - grocery stores.
HowBusy helps find out how crowded are the stores in your area, provides alternatives, and shows the best times to do groceries. Interface is very intuitive, both map and store list are on the same page. We did our best to create a helpful tool!
HowBusy is free.
I will appreciate it a lot if you check it out and share the feedback!

Hello!
🚀 I've launched the Under Cloud here on Product Hunt ( https://www.producthunt.com/post... ), which is a different take on knowledge management, where we connect the things we create with the things we find.
It's possible to create annotated narratives of events (anything from climate change, and the coronavirus, to the latest thinking in consciousness), or the things you're learning for pleasure or profit.
What would be amazing is if some of the superb people of Product Hunt were to jump in and give it rumble, to see what shakes loose — nothing, I hope! 🤞🏻

Hi!
During the last two year we developed ZeRecommender a recommendation engine for e-commerce powered by AI. ZeRecommender
At the moment it's available on Shopify
The idea behind the project is to use the last paper in AI to analyze product content and user interaction with your store to provide the most accurate recommendation and keep the private data of your customers totally anonymous.
we provide you 6 types of recommendations :
Popularity: The most popular product in your store. Perfect for your home page.
Trends: The trending products in your store. Dynamically recalculate.
Trends view: The most viewed product on your store Dynamically recalculates.
Product-related: Recommend product often bought with the specified product. Perfect for your product page to generate cross-sell.
Customer-related: Recommend product bought by similar customers. Perfect to customize your customer's experience.
Also Bought: Perfect for your checkout or thank you page. It recommends products also bought with a given list of products.
To make this recommendation easily integrated to your store we developed a template system to let you integrate it in a few minutes.
The last but not the least, we decide to make ZeRecommender totally fair, you are billed only on what you earn with a decreasing rate.
Earnings <1000$ : 5%
Earnings <5000$ : 4%
Earnings <25 000$ : 3.5%
Earnings <50 000$ : 3%
Earnings <75 000$ : 2.5%
Earnings <100 000$ : 2%
Earnings > 100 000$ : 1%
That means if you earn 10 000$ with the recommendation you will be billed only 385$
And finally the good news, ZeRecommender has a trial period of 30 days! And we are ready to provide you a developer to integrate recommendations on your store to fit your design.
So we are really looking for feedback to improve what we already made.
If you are on WooCommerce, Prestashop, Magento, or other platforms. We will release plugins for those platforms soon and the API for custom usage too so we are looking for beta user too.

I don't know how familiar are you with the Couchsurfing situation, but recently they made a huge change, that made a lot of people mad. You can read more in the Couchsurfing blog.
