Hey, my name is Vinicius, I'm one of the founders of the Ethical Tech Alliance.
https://etastartups.carrd.co/
Our main objective is to promote the development of ethical tech. We are helping entrepreneurs meet talented tech talents. You can check out our first initiative here: once you get enrolled some developers you contact you with suggestions on how to further develop your vision, and some quotes.
We were able to secure some grants, so some developers are offering a free version one MVP if you follow some technical requirements.
Please, if you have any feedback on the initiative, let me know!

Hey everyone!
While I definitely feel that I need to stick around a while and learn how things work here before trying to create a launch for this, I was wondering if anyone would like to provide feedback on our site. We're creating a platform for UK customers to sell their homes without needing to use the services of an estate agent, and save thousands in fees and commissions due to them.
https://propertiser.co.uk
Any feedback on the look and feel of the website, where we have gone wrong in your opinion, and any general ideas on what could be changed to catch people's attention would be really appreciated.
Some context...
The way the real estate market works in the UK is very deregulated, there isn't much that an estate agent actually needs to start up, and you often find that you're just paying for a guy in a suit to show your house off. Solicitors (lawyers) and surveyors do most of the work here, and handle the legal aspect of the sale itself - and they are always used separately by customers to agents, there isn't an all in one service.
However, in order to list your home for sale on the big property sites in the UK (namely Zoopla and Rightmove), you need to go through an "agent". We've acquired this status with Zoopla (and Rightmove, if it takes off) and we act as their agent for getting the property listed. If a user is prepared to show potential buyers around their homes, then we can handle getting the property seen.
We are developing a dashboard that allows sellers and buyers to do the following:
- Discuss the property, send documents and images
- Arrange viewings of the property and book them in on a calendar for the seller
- For sellers, view analytics on property listings across other sites and our own.
Once we have enough properties to actually attract an audience, we'll unveil our pre-built listings pages and search, which would allow buyers to view properties on our website. They are formatted similarly to other property sites in the UK but also allow users to directly book viewings and have a few other features to show off the property, its' location, and other things buyers are usually interested in.
I'm not sure how things work around here but feedback from people with good backgrounds in tech would be truly appreciated, as we're all in the property game ourselves (I work on behalf of a group of London property developers, if you've ever visited certain areas you've probably walked past our buildings without ever knowing!), and until I personally joined the project, there was very little in terms of basic understanding of digital marketing and web commerce, and I'm not exactly above average in these areas at best... So feel free to tear in to us, it will only ever help at the end of the day!
Thanks in advance guys,
Dylan
