Hi everyone! I'm looking for feedback on https://koupi.io, a no-code scripting tool for windows (macOS coming soon). I'm interested in any feedback you may have. I just updated the landing page last night, what do you think? What do you think of Koupi itself? Any feedback you may have is greatly appreciated (positive or negative, but preferably constructive).

@caroline_chiari Love the idea! It feels a bit like Automator on MacOS - do you think that koupi has particular advantages or differences from Automator? The landing page (https://koupi.io) is too large for my Macbook Pro's screen. Make sure that your CSS is making the page responsive to smaller screens (especially mobile devices). Keep it up!

@segheysens One of the advantages is that it will be one tool for all OSs. I will change the landing page right away, thank you for the feedback!

Hi Makers!! Very excited!! ๐ŸŽŠ I recently launched Barebackups (https://barebackups.com) - a super-simple service for MySQL backups. You can set up an automatic backup of your MySQL databases on a schedule you prefer. You can also bring your own S3 account for unlimited backup storage and fully control your data. Hi fellow Makers! I recently launched WP Livestream (https://wplivestream.com), a WordPress plugin that automatically embeds live stream video on your website. I am hoping to launch it soon here on PH soon. Before I do, I would love to get feedback on the landing page and even the plugin itself. I want to make the features and value proposition clear. - Does this look like something that would provide value for individuals/organizations/businesses? - What can be done to improve the landing page? - What is missing that should be added to the landing page? Any and all feedback is welcome. Thank you!
Tim
@nathan_parikh Hey, I can only speak from a designers perspective, so anything deeply rooted into wordpress I might not have insight to. Although I do regularly work with Wordpress and clients who want to embed videos on their sites. First of all: This is definitely needed, especially in times of a pandemic, where businesses such as dog trainers, fitness coaches (etc.) are forced to change their websites to accomodate to the public staying home. Here are my first impressions: - The header with an example video looks nice! - Maybe change the logos below to a fixed height. Right now all of them do have different sizes and that can look strange. - Additionally: I'm not sure the lines above and below the logos are necessary, at least not in the same color. Maybe reduce the opacity to introduce some air to the layout. - The red buy button should have a bit more space between it and the text above - In general: Whitespace is not your enemy. You are on the right track, but some elements don't have enough room to breathe. Mainly the "Have another question" section and the subtitle of Pricing. - There are a plethora of stock icons available everywhere to spice up your feature cards. Use some of them! People like to look at things and in turn, using icons might change the feel from bootstrap template to carefully crafted elements. Or: Use patterns and textures in low opacity to splice up the card backgrounds. - The logo is very generic. Its definitly servicable and also not ugly. But nothing people will remember. There are many, many paid Wordpress plugins out there that have their own branding. And to take a bite out of that market might mean to invest into a more unique logo. Doesn't have to be agency material, but I really think you can do better than a red recording dot!

@timwldn man, I somehow missed this notification. Thanks so much for your feedback, really valuable. Making the features area more visually appealing is definitely a high priority for me. Good point about the logo, it's definitely more of a MVP logo at this point, but I agree creating a stronger brand is the best long-term move. Again, thanks for your notes and sorry for missing this comment!

Heyo everybody! Iโ€™ve just launched a Chrome Extension that lets Users customize their browser video/cam stream via Filters/Modes that add a dash of fun and memes to the regular meetings and lectures ๐Ÿ˜Š DogeCam - Product: https://www.producthunt.com/post... Chrome Web-Store: https://chrome.google.com/websto... Github: https://github.com/Cruzo007/DogeCam Would really appreciate the feedback regarding: 1. Ease of Use 2. Overall UX and feel 3. And what Video meme you think is worth it for that Monday meeting! There are a few restrictions, such as the browser safety & security policies, that limit how easy some of the modes/custom additions can be. Other than that, I hope you guys enjoy it! :D

Hey makers! How are you? I am looking for beta testers for https://phovi.app, testing our app and merchandise, and if you are interested in joining our community of beta testers, please let me know! Phovi is a Mobile Social Platform built around multiplayer games, where users can connect with each other through communities, texting, and calls during games, and also redeem points earned on the games in wearables (clothing and event tickets). Our goal here is to connect users worldwide, promoting meaningful connections, and offline experiences, as with the increase of Smartphone usage, studies have also proved higher isolation and loneliness from younger generations. Ready to have fun and make new friends? :)
