Next week most of the Product Hunt team is flying into San Francisco from around the world to plan our roadmap for the second half of 2019. We'd love to hear your ideas.
What should we build? These could be completely new products or improvements to existing features. Feel free to get creative. There are no bad ideas. 😉

@rrhoover I was thinking of some sort of listing that indicate which products that work together perfectly. For instance, if I am a product designer I would love to see which products other designers use as a kit. Like currently I am using Sketch + Abstract + Zeplin + Atlassian + Userflow...users can upvote the products kits based on how they are useful and synergize each other.
Cheers ✌️
@rrhoover Over time projects turn out to succeed or fail. It’d be cool to be able to set my status as working on a project or looking for another one. It’s almost like I’m raising my hand and the community can see it. Giving consent for makers to reach out and pitch me on what they got. Increases the probability of collaboration between members.

@rrhoover For the product launches, the PH community leaves comments. There are times when I clearly see where I can help the product team such as for the message, marketability, onboarding, growth strategy, the support center, or brand voice and tone. The founders of course welcome every relevant request if that helps their product.
So for every product launch, the founders should be able to select categories where they are open for direct (paid or otherwise) inputs or consultancy, and while writing a review, the reviewers can say YES to one or more of these open categories. PS: This is different from the *hiring* option of course.
The goal is to tighten the product for experience, sales, growth, and to increase the success rate of startups.

@rrhoover Some way to easily search and sort tools based on certain criterias.

@rrhoover If we could have some form of integration to a website so we could publish the goals from one or more lists. We are building a product, and we have a ~50 people waiting list. We share with them the progression of the project, and this could be a cool way of talking about our smaller steps and goals.

@rrhoover Having a polling feature just like Twitter but between Makers!

@rrhoover "Tinder for skills". Introduce a tool where Makers can match with each other by telling what they can offer help with and what they need help with. I think this would be very helpful especially for those who are bootstrapping the way on making their product.
@rrhoover
A strong core focus on the end-goal for the maker: success stories, behind-the-scenes stuff.
PH's strength is being the go-to place for product inspiration.
Motivation / ideas / research on what makes great products and makers great.
Inspiring stories on both past and current makers and their process.

@rrhoover Would seriously building a coding bootcamp or course on how to build a product from PH. You have the audience and it could be a great fit :-) from coding to marketing, so much PH could offer!
