How do you keep yourself motivated?

Motivation or willpower is not an infinite resource. It's much like a muscle that can get tired. How do you recharge yourself in those situations?

If you are asking for motivation for just one thing continuous, I feel I dont have it. I usually take a break and again feel like coming back to that one thing I was working on. So say I am writing an article, I will finish the first draft and then park it for a day or so and then comeback with new fresh perspective to work on. Same goes for my design, and product work. So I will say I am motivated but when I take break from it :-)

@samikshaa It's definitely true for me while writing articles.

Taking a pause helps. I often find that my motivation falls when I try to push myself to extreme limits. Then I question every decision I have ever made.

Proper nutrition is the key to keep our brain chemistry works well, especially the dopamine system related to our motivation. 33 mg per day of Phenylalanine + Tyrosine amino acids should be consumed according to the US Institute of Medicine. These amino acids are precursors for dopamine synthesis in our bodies. Try to consume food rich in these two amino acids (cheese, soybeans, beef, etc). Proper sleep cycles, physical activity, etc may help too :)

Sometimes it’s really hard to stay organized and motivated…But I try to imagine what the finish will be in case I do everything in my power. There are some tips you need to pay attention before starting and in progress: - have a reason for every movement; - reward yourself for a job well done; - make retrospectives at what you’ve already done; - start afresh each time; - set deadlines; - think positive. If talking about working from home tips, I strongly advise to use time management apps (TMetric is the best as for me - https://www.capterra.com/p/14862...), put off all distractive things like smartphone, food and I advise you to work in a room alone.
