What has been your most surprisingly lucrative marketing channel or activity?

Product hunt is a great place for finding people and products which are cool. I got one of the founders of a product (via product hunt) to come and chat with me for a video. I didn't expect this to happen because my first impression about the PH community was that it is like an app marketplace but I am happy that I was wrong :D

For our company, FlippedNormals, our YouTube channel has been one of the most incredible marketing channels. It's allowed us to engage directly with our audience and potential customers. It's definitely not a viable marketing strategy for everyone. But we're in the creative sphere and it helps us create a lot of free content for our audience. And as our reach grows there, so does the potential for more customers. We've been at it consistently for a few years and now we output 1 video every week. It used to be 2 a week, but we don't have the time anymore.
