Hi all,
I am currently looking for people to start using my new project which is called "Use The Local". “Use The Local” is a global hobbyist locator, that brings together travelers and locals who happen to have the same hobby and want to share experiences and knowledge.
The idea behind UTL is that people who travel or are on vacation, do not necessarily have to stop their hobbies∙ not even temporarily! Hobbies keep our mind active and even if our body needs some rest, doing our hobby, always makes us feel better.
And although it is always easy to use your free time during your business trip and go run, or go hike while you are on vacation in a beautiful island, wouldn’t be much more interesting to have someone to guide you and, why not, even to share with you secrets of his hobby?
The mission of “Use The Local” is to give to the travelers a different experience! To enhance their trip with something different, something unique, that only a local host is able to provide!
A hobby may seem to be the same, no matter if you do it in your country or in the other side of the globe. But this is not true! A local hiker may guide you to places where you wouldn’t have gone alone, because you simply didn’t know their existence! A chess player may teach you new techniques while playing chess with you next to the sea! A clay pot maker, may show you how the local pots are created and what makes them so unique!
If you can share this info and help me to get users so they can sign up and if you can give a feedback, it will be much appreciated.
The site is www.usethelocal.com and the story behind can be found in this FB page https://www.facebook.com/notes/u...
Thank you in advance!
Chris
