There are creators I would love to reach out to and network with within the platform for ease of access, logging, and sharing launch details.

Could we add the ability to DM fellow contributors on Product Hunt?

How would Product Hunt prevent people from spamming everyone?

@steveb Maybe limit by DM credits like LinkedIn InMails. And do not allow adding clickable links. :)

@steveb  @rohanrecommends  I like this idea and may be allow earning of points through engagement, similar to kitty coins. There could also be a monetization opportunity here, where those DM credits could be bought by users.

@rohanrecommends or maybe invites to conversations and the receiver can approve or deny based on the initial message, maybe with filtering based on topics or likely spam

@steveb Twitter/X already solved the DM spam problem AFAIK, so PH could just copy that model
