Did your return from vacation have a real impact on your productivity / motivation?

Like many people, I like to feel like a professional at something. There is nothing wrong with that, but it often prevents me from trying new activities and developing new skills - both in work and in my personal life. When I decided to start dancing, I knew it wouldn't be easy, but it would help push me out of my comfort zone. Gritting my teeth, I signed up for tap dancing lessons for beginners. The new class helped me switch to a "beginner's mindset," a state in which one is open to everything new and is able to find something unusual even in familiar things. Not only did it help in dance class, but it also made me look at my work in a different way. Instead of expecting myself to succeed in all work matters, I give myself more room to start: exploring the possibility of launching new services for clients and exploring topics I don't understand. All of this inspires and encourages me to take more creative approaches.

It certainly is. I feel that breaks are key to having fresh ideas or even viewing your project from an outsider's eye.

I want to take a break so much. At least for a few days or week

Yes absolutely! Your mind is fresh after a vacation, giving you new ideas

It definitely has. Clearing up your mind, focusing on other things for a certain period, recharging your mental batteries, and more. I don' think it's realistic (or even sustainable in the long-term) to force yourself to push 8-10 and more hours every day. The quality of your work will inevitably suffer and you're at a high risk of burnout.

I feel more concentrated
