Do we need more ethics in AI?

by
As Artificial Intelligence (AI) becomes increasingly ubiquitous, it raises important ethical considerations. AI technologies are increasingly integrated into our daily lives, from intelligent virtual assistants to facial recognition software. However, as the capabilities of AI continue to grow, so too do concerns around issues such as data privacy, algorithmic bias, and accountability. According to Platformer, Microsoft laid off an entire team dedicated to guiding AI innovation that leads to ethical, responsible, and sustainable outcomes last week. I'm not sure this is the right way to go. What’s your opinion about this?

Data privacy is the last thing we should worry about, while algorithmic bias and accountability is far more concerning.

Think of ethics as less of "Hey was this art created on training data that has copyright?" and more of "Does this particular model fit our goals in the most important sense: is this safe for humanity"
