Personally I like hybrid remote with the option of going in whenever.

Yes, remote option has more advantages and much preferred by many people but it's worth to mention some issues raised from that, namely the need to focus on visualisation, both the work on and the team you work with. It is very important to ensure all the team sees and understands the project and details we work on. I even used to listen the podcast about it. But I like remote work. I can switch my time from commuting to other activity.
Definitely remote, I appreciate the freedom it comes with from companies that know how to properly conduct remote work (that's the important part)

I like remote working as I can work more efficiently in isolation.

I think I would prefer the hybrid option, with 1 or 2 days in the office and the rest remote!

Both, but I don't like labeling it or being locked into a specific way of working (like 2 days a week in the office).
I get tired of always being at home and want to go into the office, and I get tired of the commute so want to work from home. Some weeks I'll work from home, some weeks from the office, some weeks both.
My start-up is in this space and I've worked with 100s of companies who all have a slightly different take on hybrid/remote-first/flex-space/flex-work but one thing is common: you need to know when people are planning on working, and where from.
And the challenges extend beyond just knowing when your team is working. Bigger companies that have a canteen need to know how much food to stock. Site managers need to know if there are first aiders in the office. And even if the office is open on a given day.
So far, none of them use it to keep tabs that people are meeting a minimum usage.
hybrid π₯π₯π₯ this format gives enough flexibility, but also the opportunity to communicate with colleagues in person, which is much more effective than communicating online

According to my point of view remote is best. I hired some of employ remotely for https://suffuze.com/motivational.... It was a wonderful experience!
Hybrid, but without the obligation to go for a minimum of days...
So mostly remote, but to be able to go to the office once a week or so :)

Hybrid or flex in-person..
That's good to have opportunity to work from any place from time to time but I badly need comfortable workplace and team to chat in person. Zoom calls and messengers are not always enough
