Although I love the freedom to be in different places that remote working brings, I prefer to work in the office. The exchange with my team is much more productive, mistakes can be discovered faster and good ideas can be discussed better. I have also observed that the social aspect of interacting with other people improves the mood of the team and therefore we work better together.
However, I wouldn't want to give up remote working altogether.

Hi, Saif,
It's actually hard to answer. I am naturally an ambivert (introvert and extrovert hybrid). I used to think home office would be a dream setting until I tried it out and actually felt that a huge part of why I loved to go to work is now gone. I really miss catching up with colleagues and just having that sense of a team/community. Remote work setting also challenges my time management and organisational skills. However, I enjoy the freedom and flexibility the remote work has given me. I would prefer a hybrid setting first, followed by remote and in-person at last. But that would also depend on where the company is located.
