Do you prefer remote or office meetings?

2 years ago beginning of the pandemic, raised close to 1m USD for my startup 100% in remote meetings. my team works 100% remotely. I think this depends on people's preferences. remote work is not for everybody. But I do not go back again to the office, ever.

I prefer office meetings, it's definitely more efficient than remote meetings!

After a while I am sick of looking at distorted faces on my screen, internet latency and people forgetting to unmute....

Personally, I prefer remote meetings. I find that they are much more convenient for in person meetings. I understand that there may be time when you need to be in person, but short of that, I would rather meet online.

Getting more comfortable to the WFH system and since I'm completely working remote I prefer online meetings. However, if it's an onboarding session that I guess it makes sense to have it in person, also brings in a sense of comfort for the newbie.

Just depends on the type of meeting. While I prefer working remotely and hence virtual meetings are good most of the time. Certain brainstorming or alignment sessions are way better in person.
