Do you use AI-powered software to record meeting notes? If so, what do you use?

by
I've tried using tools that automatically take notes during my Zoom/Google Meet calls, but none of them have stuck. A full transcription is overkill and summaries often miss the most important points. Additional context: Most of my calls are fundraising-related conversations with founders. I would prefer NOT to have a "bot" join a call and ideally the notes could automatically be shared in a specific Slack channel with my team. I'm curious what tools people are using and for what use cases. I'd appreciate any recommendations. :)

Have you tried using Otter.ai? It offers real-time transcription and allows you to highlight important points. It also integrates with Slack. P.S this is AI generated reply xD

No, never found a need for it

Ive used several of these over time, in a few different companies. They mostly just became a repository, no one really used the extra functions they provided.

I have used Avoma in the past, it’s impressive but I feel the value prop is very centred on sales teams and it’s pretty expensive. Plenty of cheaper competitors for startups

I use otter.ai https://otter.ai/ although there are many other useful tools out there

Hey @rrhoover hands down I recommend Fathom.video. Been using ALOT of these tools and the main benefit (out of many) is that the AI summary is so good you can be 80% confident of capturing the essence of the convo. On top of that the highlighting function allows you some more feature flexibility. I did two thing when I found Fathom - became a user and invested immediately in their Wefunder. Hope this helps.

I gave used Otter AI and Synth. Even though Otter is more polished product, I prefer Synth as it's free and upcoming product
Hey yes!! Our team uses Otter for the transcription. It does the job well. 👍

Yes, I have been using meetjamie.ai for a while now, but I am not completely satisfied with it.
