Do you use AI-powered software to record meeting notes? If so, what do you use?

by
I've tried using tools that automatically take notes during my Zoom/Google Meet calls, but none of them have stuck. A full transcription is overkill and summaries often miss the most important points. Additional context: Most of my calls are fundraising-related conversations with founders. I would prefer NOT to have a "bot" join a call and ideally the notes could automatically be shared in a specific Slack channel with my team. I'm curious what tools people are using and for what use cases. I'd appreciate any recommendations. :)

Vowel.com is simply incredible

- Fast - Google Extension - Mobile app - AI-powered action items - Post-meeting summaries It replaced Google Hangout without any friction. Attend external meetings: Zoom, Hangout, or whatever the inviter sent Host own meetings and stay in control: Vowel, all the way. I don't know how it could get any better.

At Noty.ai (https://noty.ai/), we have a seamless Google Meet experience as the extension works on a background - so no bots or whatever joining the call. Plus, you can manually make your notes and highlights with a shortcut and get a 1/ action item list, 2/ tasks, and 3/ summaries generated by ChatGPT. I was personally using Noty.ai for our fundraising, and from the founders' perspective, it was super easy to log everything, search and follow up. For Zoom(unfortunately), we still have a bot, but we gonna launch a desktop app with the same user experience this quarter. So give it a try and let me know what you think.

https://userevaluation.com does a pretty decent job if you’re looking to go beyond notes.

For notes only, we support a bot-free experience for Google Meet with Supernormal.com. If you want a video recording for Meet, or need to capture notes on Zoom and Teams, a bot will join. Last month we rolled out meeting note templates including one called Business Pitch that we have several hundred VC's using each day that uses the relevant prompts. You can also share straight to a slack channel automatically. Happy to reconnect and get you set up! DM's on twitter as always are open.
