I have been using pen and paper mostly, because I like just being able to use all the space freely. But recently I ordered an iPad, so wanted to try this with the Pen. Considering that I'll also switch all my notetaking, from my computer too, which would be the best option?

My favorite note taking tool is https://www.eastgate.com/Tinderbox/. Tinderbox is more than a note-taking tool. It is a thinking platform, a tool to manage the 4Cs of thought collection, curation, creation, and contribution.

Using Passfindr for a while and am pretty juiced about it. No syncing so, every change is instantly available on all my devices. Clean UI. Has all the tools for networked thought/Zettelkasten. Looks and operates like a search engine and filtering is easy. It’s fast It has an open text editor so I can format any note or doc I create and there is no limit to length of the note. If a note is sensitive, I can encrypt it. Best I have found for research.
