First Product Launch coming, Super Nervous! Experienced Builders, Seeking Guidance & Mental Prep! πŸ™

byβ€’

Hey Builders! πŸ‘‹

Our product is planned for an August mid-month launch. I just graduated recently, and this is my very first time being responsible for a product launch. Honestly, I'm super nervous right now, even a bit scared of failing. It feels like standing on the edge of a cliff, both excited and terrified.

What we're launching this time is a database platform that lets you quickly build practical internal apps with AI. It brings together essential capabilities like automation, data analysis, and permission management all in one place, so you don't have to struggle with confusing interfaces. If you find Salesforce or Airtable too complex, it lets you build complete business scenarios and automate tasks without writing code or learning complicated tool logic.

I've been with the team for half a year now, and I truly believe we're building something incredibly useful. AI can genuinely solve problems, especially for non-technical users like me. From no longer needing to build tables manually, it really frees up your hands – and that kind of "hands-free" AI is seriously addictive; just can't live without it myself!

For this launch, our small goal is to snag a Product Hunt Badge. That would be awesome to display on our official website and feel like a real validation of all our 2 years hard work.

That's also where the pressure comes fromπŸ₯Ή

So, I'd love to ask all you experienced Builders out there:

  • What kind of preparations did you make for your product launches? Not just the technical and marketing stuff, but also the mental preparation – how do you deal with the anxiety and pressure before and after a launch? How do you ensure your launch is "effective and useful"?

  • Do you have any advice to help me make this launch even better? Whether it's about marketing strategies, community engagement, or anything else at all.

I'm really eager to hear more perspectives and shared experiences! Even if it's just about the pitfalls you encountered during your own launches, please share!

Thanks in advance for all your help! πŸ™
