Love this question — totally agree it depends on the product and audience. For B2B or SaaS, LinkedIn’s still unmatched for trust and reach, but for consumer or creator-focused products, short-form video (TikTok/YouTube Shorts) wins. Personally, LinkedIn’s been my best channel — consistent, organic growth with real connections.
My plan is to test short videos across all the major platforms (LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, X, Instagram, TikTok) and run ads to see what actually converts. I'll let the data tell me which videos, headlines, and channels work best instead of guessing.
It's going to be trial and error, but that's the only way to know where my audience actually hangs out versus where I think they should be.
@lattecino Cool. I would like to see the results and your journey. Will you be sharing anything in these terms (case study)? :)

@busmark_w_nika 100% Nika. I will post our journey here on Producthunt with all the learnings. From screenshots for feedback to Android vs. iOS app development. By the way.. big fan of yours!!!
@lattecino Thank you so much, Michael. I am pretty sure that such stories would deserve blog or newsletter, maybe posting it on Twitter/LinkedIn to spread the word :)

@busmark_w_nika Thank you Nika. I will, once the I have something meaningful to share. Maybe in the future I can hire you for your services
Kind of all of them now since our product integrates every inbox & chat so people can keep across their inbounds/outbounds at once. Very different ICPs on different platforms though, which makes the brand building hard and feels like it lacks focus at times. Linkedin is still the best for b2b SaaS imo.
@cam_mcmaster1 True, and as for me, it seems to be more profitable (higher earnings).

Really interesting point — I’ve mainly been active on LinkedIn (around 10K+ followers), but honestly, still figuring out how to translate that reach into real business opportunities.
Just started exploring Twitter/X and would love to learn how founders here have managed to build traction or even convert followers into clients or users. Any success stories or frameworks that worked for you?
@dinuka_wijesinghe I think that more than followers, engagement matters even more. ATM, I sold 2 sponsorships. Post every day and reply to every comment :) Are we connected here, btw?

@busmark_w_nika That’s great! Congrats on landing those two sponsorships. Totally I agree with you. engagement really matters more than just follower numbers. And yeah, let’s connect here!
@sai_tharun_kakirala What about LinkedIn? Have you seen any significant outcomes for that one? :)

For us at Growstack, it’s definitely LinkedIn + Product Hunt.
LinkedIn helps us connect directly with operators, founders, and teams who face workflow and automation pain every day — our ideal audience. The conversations there feel real, not performative.
And Product Hunt? That’s where we test momentum. Every thread, every comment, every small launch helps us grow visibility organically within the builder community.
If you’re in B2B or automation, these two together are gold — one builds trust, the other builds traction.

First time building for designers + marketplace sellers. Designers are easy for us (Pinterest/IG Reels work).
Sellers are a mystery — any adwise pls😅

@busmark_w_nika Theoretically it fits us (we produce complete Amazon/Shopify kits). Practically: not tested—TBD🙂
For dev tools and B2B SaaS, Twitter/X still works but the ROI has dropped noticeably. The channels I've seen work best recently are niche communities - Product Hunt forums, specific Discord servers, and even Reddit. The key difference is that community channels compound slower but the audience quality is 10x higher than broad social media reach. People who find you in a relevant community are already in the right mindset
