How did you come up with the idea for your product or service?

I found out the needs of my industry while working

I first show them reference sites, ask them about their feedback, any specific features they need, then first step complete documentation, that's important because it helps bind a document and understand all features demanded at once. I recently faced this issue where client wants to sell NFT's but he mentioned only 1 specific type of NFT but later on when I digged API he provided there were over 50k products with different categories. Next step is UI/UX design using Figma. Once design in finalized, and is approved development begins. Finally after unit and integration testing product is delivered. Summary: To put in short, in my case understanding what's required is important to come with right ideas.

A friend told me about this idea and I developed it into the software that nowadays has evolved.

I’m always interested in new technologies where we can make a big leap. Typical products I come up with are Saas to bring other developers. Tools bring innovation effectively grow into intersections with other fields.

My product is Vikara, a chatbot I built to help prevent disordered eating. It was a long process for me, but I'll try to briefly capture how I came up with the idea: In 2021, I went through a 2-3 month period of high anxiety during which I snacked 'a lot'. That led me into reading research papers on emotional eating and binge eating, and the positive effects of mindful eating, mood regulation and the role of a positive body image. I decided to build a chatbot that delivers helpful advice to prevent eating disorders and that's how I built Vikara.
