I wanted some short name that is unique, easy to remember, also looks good in the URL and of course also has some kind of meaning. So I just brainstormed some names and then kind of tried out my short listed names for a couple of days before deciding (e.g. designed logos, used them in text and conversations etc.). Finally I chose Srive (srive.co) that is a creative adaptation of the word thrive and reflects the product objective namely helping companies to thrive.
@nora_fehringer That's a nice name

To be honest, I didn't want to do any naming at all, so I settled on the first name that a colleague suggested - qualyfid.ai It resonated with our field - quality assurance, which was enough for me:)
@zoia_stetsenko That's a cool & unique name 👌🏼

Start with your story then find a name you can own. Be happy with your domain your email and your twitter before you stick to some random name. The story will help the most.

My product makes machine learning, specifically computer vision functionality really easy to integrate into applications. Hence: easy ML = ez + ML = ezML :)
@deds3t That's a cool name 👌🏼

The name "ProApp" for our startup came from a combination of factors. We wanted a name that conveyed professionalism, expertise, and a focus on providing practical applications for our users. "Pro" represents the idea of professionalism and expertise, highlighting our commitment to delivering high-quality design education. "App" signifies our emphasis on a digital platform that offers convenience and accessibility to learners. The name ProApp encapsulates our vision of empowering aspiring designers with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in their professional journeys.

1. Start with unique names (no one will remember or associate with your product) 2. Then try to sound like a million dollar company (names along the lines of Apple, google, slack) 3. Ask friends (they are honest sometimes) 4. Thought about my product and it’s purpose (bingo bango)
@riva_kajangu That's true, we also decided to name our product ZAPMAIL for that reason
