What has worked for you in landing your first few customers? We've just launched a public beta with a couple of initial customers and looking to onboard more. I'm curious what worked for others, especially in b2b saas space.
P.S. Apologies if this topic has already been explored but I haven't found anything relevant.
I think you can start by reaching out for feedback first and start nurturing them. Check out https://www.producthunt.com/post..., the platform can help you connect with potential users fast.

Hey @dmitry_kalinchenko! To gather feedback during the beta phase, we contacted potential users through our personal networks. We offered these prospects a free plan as a way to gather insights and improve our product. After pivoting our strategy, we scheduled 15-minute meetings with these early users and granted them lifetime access to most features, instead of requiring payment.
Creating relevant content for potential customers (the ideal profile). Even if you don't get leads initially, you are building your brand reputation and helping to acquire and retain customers. Then, launch campaigns on LinkedIn and cold calling to follow up. Very fast follow-up. As soon as someone shows interest and you realize you are the fit, go for it.

Organically. I wouldn't recommend paid acquisition in onboarding the first 10-50 customers.

Narrow down your positioning to a specific user segment.
Network in groups where your target customers are.
Build and share your journey in public.
