Personally, putting aside e-commerce transactions (ebay etc), I did my first dollar on the internet by promoting Udemy courses on a blog I created yeaaars ago: http://elearnhero.com/. So the very first time I made money online was through affiliate marketing !
I've been building things online for other people for around 20 years. This month I launched my own product for the first time and it is *incredibly* rewarding to see it generating money! Keep your eyes out on Product Hunt for it!

Great question! through fiverr for recording and mixing some random guitar tracks.
Very excited to say that my answer is launching on Product Hunt today! I've been making money building tech for other people for nearly 20 years but seeing those first few dollars arrive in Stripe from Remotely is a feeling I've never had before!

Asides from selling Rubik's cubes in the web, I think the major first hit was developing a website for an armouring company. I had designed a couple of websites in my first portfolio for very low and probono.

Some of my acquaintances started selling on ebay a few years ago and one of my acquaintances has quite a large number of clients. I was also interested in this opportunity and I tried to place my goods there, but I ran into some difficulties. Then I decided to ask a friend for advice and he advised me to read eBay Issues to better understand how the service works and what mistakes beginners most often encounter. I hope you find this interesting.
