How do you deal with distractions while working from home?

Honestly, the distractions around the house are my biggest nightmare while working from home. Even though I am a remote worker, I try to go out and work in coffee shops, and libraries as much as possible so that I am much more disciplined. What about you?

I start my day with a list of things I must do. As soon as they're done, I take time for something nice like booking a trip, shopping, or simply walking outside.

These are some of the most useful things I've done working from home. Set boundaries: Set boundaries with family and friends to let them know when you are working and when you are available. Use noise-canceling headphones: Use noise-canceling headphones to help block out any distracting noises.

@amitay_gilboa_design what happens to me is that there are no libraries I can work, and coffee shops are too noisy to focus. Have you tried coworkings before?

Setting up boundaries with your loved one, and asking for time for focussed work. Also brain.fm has been working great to keep me focussed lately.

It's really hard to avoid distractions especially if you have 2 cats and dogs at home :) However, mostly metal music handle the things on my side! :)

I always have headphones on and listen to soothing noises or music that helps me to focus and concentrate.

1. Going out. 2. Use headphones. 3. Talk with family to set expectations. But... The biggest gamechanger is: choose one place for one form of activity. Do not play games and do productive stuff at the same desk - as you are doomed to fail in the latter!

When I focus, nothing can distract me, I work too much and even I skip my meals sometimes :(
