How do you manage to separate work and personal life when working remotely?

by
Hello everyone! I often have a problem with the fact that my personal life is mixed with my work life. What kind of life hacks do you have for organizing your work from home?

My advice is don't combine your home life with work. I mean, don't do work projects in bed etc. Make your own work area. Otherwise, in any place you will think only about work and the house will cease to be a place of strength and rest.

It isn't easy to balance and manage a personal life with work, especially when having kids. Planning in advance, and try to finish my household before I sit in front of a laptop but still I can't manage when my kids are back from school. lol

It turned out that 100% remote work is just not for me. I started to feel a lot better when I got back to the office, so my work stayed in the office and the home was just home. But I really admire people who are good at remote work. This is really cool and this option should stay with us forever.

When I am working remotely I simply automate my work and do my other chores simultaneously.

It can be hard, I usually work for longer hours when WFH. Best solution is to set up multiple clock alarms during the day to remind me to get some coffee, take a nap, etc.

First of all, it is really difficult, because space and time are separated during normal work, but after telecommuting, only the time dimension can be used to distinguish between work and life

Work according to one schedule. Once it's 6 pm, I close my computer and go back to my personal life.

A robust task amangement and planning tool is the key to success. I use GanttPRO. Our team works remotely and this tool (https://ganttpro.com/) helps us to manage work and personal activities with ease. A Gantt diagram provided by GanttPRO allows for scheduling activities, setting dependencies, adding milestones for project tasks, and working with flexible WBS hierarchies. You can prioritize tasks to make sure deadlines are met. Its integration options make it a powerful project management suite.
