How do you stay healthy?

Being a founder/builder is a lot of work and can take its toll on your health. What's your strategy for staying healthy? I'm a walker and can easily crank out 15+ miles a week, eat only plants and hit the gym 3-5x a week. What's yours?

Swimming 5x a week. It helps me ground and get rooted after long strenuous workdays.

I have a practical question, Adrian, how can you sustain yourself working and walking so much eating only plants? (admiration vibes) As of me, I can say that recently health unfortunately has not been a priority. Thereby, trying to find space to focus on what is actually right and reduce the work load.

For me, here are my key ways to be healthier: 1. Do one or 1:30 hours of Excercise or walk every day. 2. Take 6-7 hours of proper sleep 3. Take Healthy food 4. Spend time with family 5. Have some refreshment trips with friends and family 6. Take some breaks during your work.

Try to have an active lifestyle. It's hard to always get to the gym, so being active in just basic routine activities is helpful. For example, I don't keep a water bottle next to me, I try to get up and get water again and again and again. Some people might think it's unnecessary, but this helps me get on my feet time and again, and makes me look away from the screen, helping me think better (trust me it helps). Moreover, not doing fad diets but generally just watching what I put in my body helps. This means I don't refrain from eating what I like, but just practice mindful eating. What you put in your body really determines the level of productivity and also well, helps you stay healthy. (bonus: a healthy relationship with food) Lastly, I get for some people gym might be fun but personally, I thrive on some healthy competition. For this, I play some sport, usually, just getting to neighborhood courts and joining people. I have a basketball court close by and shooting some hoops and getting that adrenaline pumping helps keep me active and healthy.

Founder health is essential. I keep things interesting by alternating between morning runs, yoga/stretching, and careful meal preparation.
