How do you use ChatGPT to boost your daily efficiency?

For me it works best in information retrieval and idea generation. What's in there for you?

The best use so far has been to help understand code that I wouldn't be able to understand myself. I work in a legacy (code-igniter) php app, and I have gotten much better at it in the last month of using chatGPT to help me.
This goes for things that aren't code but are also related. Like "what is a docker container? Explain it to me like I'm 5"
I have been trying to teach students of mine to use it as a sort of "teaching assistant". That way I could help others improve at a much lighter cost to my own energy and time.

ChatGPT has significantly increased my productivity. For instance, I asked ChatGPT to compile a complete list of use cases mentioned in this thread. As a result, I didn't have to read through every comment or deal with duplicate use cases. This is just one of the ways that ChatGPT has helped me.

I setup a news scraper to continually call the openAI with instructions for chatGPT to create a Wikacy for each fresh news article following rules of lore of Wik, where vaguely represented fantasy characters are invented for real people and the particulars of each piece of news is allegorically and fantastically portrayed in the imagine world in a way so as to establish and respect the canon, follow the overall storyline, duplicate all conflicts and alliances and any such events, so that the real world events are mirrored in the imagined world in a manner clearly recognizable, yet plausibly deniable. So far 12 brick-sized volumes of deep lore have been generated containing very complex characters and villains. It is interesting to see which companies it decides to make villains and which it decides to build into protagonists.
