How many browser tabs do you have open when you research one prospect?

LinkedIn, their site, their pricing page, their careers page, a podcast they were on, Crunchbase, two competitor tabs, my notes doc, and four tabs I genuinely don't remember opening.

Then I write three sentences.

I stopped working this way a while ago and I want to know if everyone else did too.

Not chasing a sales prospect, but I get the same tab sprawl doing competitor and SEO research, new tabs multiply before I've written a word. What worked for me was dumping every link into one running doc as I open it, then doing the actual reading afterward instead of mid-browse.
