I stopped reading founder origin stories. Here's what I read instead to actually judge a product.

"I was frustrated by x, so i built y" is basically every launch post here. Doesn't tell me anything about whether the product's actually good.

What i actually look at now: The changelog. How fast something's shipping, what they're fixing, whether they're responding to their own users publicly.

That tells you more about whether a team can execute than any origin story ever will.

Anyone can have a relatable problem. not everyone can consistently ship the fix.
