Problem: Even solar energy is dependent on extracting limited materials from the ground.
Problem: We're addicted to plastic.
Dreams: What if we could bio-engineer these? Solar panel materials that can be grown and shaped into things like roof shingles or blades of grass. What if we got better at rearranging atoms to fit our needs? And engineer them to seamlessly integrate back into harmless components when their life cycle was done?
