It’s tempting to leap in and say “Global Warming” - but I think we could be a bit more subtle about this and solve a lot more than that with the magic wand you’ve just handed us. I would solve the problem of people not believing carefully researched scientific facts…or, even more generally, fixing the horrific lack of “critical thinking skills” that besets such a large fraction of the population of our planet. If people understood the facts they would no longer be able to deny the importance of global warming - and all of mankind would start pushing in the right direction - so by fixing the educational problem, we would indirectly get everyone working on Global Warming.
