Listen to advice, but filter the advice to what makes sense to you. It's your responsibility to make the right decisions, not the fault of bad advice-givers if you make the wrong choices based on their words.

See everything as a process. Document and optimize all processes as you learn more about them.

Distribution, that's the word!

1. Adapt quickly 2. Trust numbers 3. Do not get attached to your idea or way of doing things. 4. Be ready to pivot. 5. Get normal users to start testing your MVP. 6. Do not take criticism personally. 7. Do not go for fancy metrics, profit per user metric should be your holy grail. 8. Do not go for the latest fad in tech stack when you are building a product. 9. If you can't describe your product and how it will earn to a, lay person, go back to the drawing board. 10. Have a solid marketing plan.

Bootstrap as much as you can. Bootstrapping is going to give you two very large benefits. 1. You are going to be forced to figure out the ways to make money. 2. The longer you survive, the more of the market you cover, and the more money you make as a boostrapped startup the more leverage you will have when being valued.

Customers are not always right. We founders are sometimes are obsessed with collecting feedback and build our products around. I found on many occasions that customers do not know what they want. and founders must build and show before users understand the real value
