Is Tesla's Car sustainable for on-road deployment?

The car did a graceful fall more so than full-flight, and that too with the correct height, speed, friction of the ramp, pressure, etc/ all calculated meticulously to make it happen with multiple thrusters. Even if they are able to build this fully within the next 20 years, would such a vehicle be safe to have on the road?
